COOLROOM PANELS

They are all the same right?
There can't be that much to them right?

Surprisingly there is and it is my aim in this article to help you identify what those differences are.

WHAT IS A COOLROOM PANEL MADE OFF?

A Coolroom Panel is made up off two things,

The outside is made up of a thin metal sheet, that can come in many different profiles like, flat, rib, shadow line & unideck just to name a few.

The core of the Coolroom Panel can be made up of 4 different types of material,

Syntactic Foam
Is a completely recyclable product with enhanced fire resistance properties.

Expanded Polystyrene
Is used throughout the construction industry, this product has been around for many years making it the tried and tested material on the market.

Mineral wool
This a fire resistant material that has the benefit of noise absorption.

Polyurethene
This panel is rated for high thermal performance.

Colour is also an option, gone of the days where white was the only colour available. You can now select from a range of different options, most manufacturers offer the Colorbond steel standard range

WHAT SIZES & THICKNESSES DO COOLROOM PANELS COME IN?
